Greetings, and Thanks for checking out our site! Vampingo Productions is a multi-faceted production company. A primary purpose of ours is to create and present theatre that focuses on environmental issues. We presented our original musical, ‘BUZZ, Son of a Bee…an actor’s life for me’ at ATA's Sargent Theatre in NYC, and over the course of nine performances, we partnered with eight pollinator preservation organizations and raised funds for them. Representatives from several organizations came to the shows and spoke about their work in saving bees--they also distributed free honey to the audience and provided lots of information re. grass-roots ways to get involved with saving bees and other pollinators.
Currently, we're developing the new multi-media musical, Glamour & Grit, which focuses on inviting the magic of Nature into life and preserving the wilderness, while also embarking upon a magical adventure. We would love to have our family-friendly musicals presented around the country and beyond, while partnering with local advocacy groups. We recently presented work with Climate Change Theatre Action, the Harlem Climate Caucus, Broadway Green Alliance, and The Women's Voices Theatre Festival.
We believe that it’s our connection with each other that gives us strength, and that creativity—the fertile soil of imagination—is a power to be embraced and integrated, so that empathy can flourish. By sharing our art, we connect with our audience, moving others to be open to the delicious absurdity of our journey on this Earth—and to share in Love & Laughter. Cheers!
